I am delighted to share my positive experience with Guidepost in Mahwah. The level of care and support provided to my son is truly exceptional. He looks forward to going to school every morning :) , which is a testament to the welcoming and nurturing environment that the school has cultivated. The lead teacher in the Toddler 2 class, Mrs. Jacky, demonstrates a genuine commitment to the well-being and development of each child. She is not only experienced and knowledgeable but also compassionate and attentive to the individual needs of the students. It is evident that she prioritizes creating a positive and engaging learning environment.

We are new to the area so we went on google and tried to find the closest daycare possible as my wife and I work full job's and it would be easier to have a daycare close for the grandma's to pick up the kids. We had our two boys (3 months and one year) enrolled in a daycare in Franklin Lakes, NJ, the daycare had good review so we went to the orientation and we were shocked by the lack of organization, size of the class, the cleanliness, etc. etc. We immediately reached out to all of the neighbors to ask about the best daycare in the area and literally every single person said Guidepost Montessori of Mahwah. Two years later and we couldn't be more happy. I come from two parents who were teachers, my wife is a teacher, and my sister is a teacher - when they saw the classroom their mouths dropped. Talk about clean, organized, and safe. The environment is excellent, one of our good friends toured multiple Montessori's and daycares in the area and they reported back that they are picking the mecca of Montessori's - Guidepost. From the smaller class room sizes to the attention to detail that my two baby boy's get it is such an excellent environment. Again, my wife is a teacher, she is very specific in what she likes, she is by far in heaven every day seeing what her 2 year old is making in arts and crafts or what events are happening at the school each week. Erika is excellent, very positive, very organized, creative, etc. I wouldnt spend the time to write this email if this Montessori wasn't five stars.

My son was in the toddler 2 class with Mrs. Jacky. Everyone he encountered was kind and patient with our very energetic boy! He learned a lot of new life...

I do not believe that my child could have had a more beneficial preschool chapter, and I am grateful to the entire staff at Guidepost for the care provided...

My daughter attends the toddler class here. With the pandemic the past couple years, we’ve always kept her at home until this fall. As first time parents we were so nervous about sending her to school and visited over 10 daycares/preschools in the area and so glad we decided on Guidepost! The facilities are clean, teachers are very patient and loving, and the whole school has a familial atmosphere. There is diversity in the kids and staff which we find very important. We were looking for a montessori program near Mahwah that wasn’t too big or too small. Our daughter has formed a great bond with her teacher and we really appreciate the daily feedback, pictures, weekly newsletters, etc that make communication so easy!
