Changing the world, one student at a time

We are a school where children find the joy in learning — and thus make it possible for them to continue learning for the rest of their lives.

To think mathematically.
To solve problems.
To create things.
To encounter great literature that inspires their character development.
To build themselves as capable, efficacious beings.
To place themselves in history and in society.
To spark meaningful friendships and deep personal values that last a lifetime.

Our goal at Guidepost Montessori is to serve each individual child, to help them realize their limitless potential, and the opportunities they will have to create real and lasting change throughout their lifetime.

Hear from our Chantilly Families

Our two daughters, 2.5 and 4 years old, attend Guidepost Montessori Chantilly. From the first time that I reached out to the Assistant Head of School to find out more about their programs, we felt like part of the Guidepost Family. When we needed help with the Financial Aid process, we had assistance the whole way. Couldn't have been more grateful.

Our children have flourished under this Accredited Montessori School with Trained Guides. We could not feel more comfortable that no question seems silly or bothersome by the Guides or Administration. As I said, we truly feel welcome and a member of the Guidepost Family. Also, the way they have handled the COVID-19 pandemic has been incredible. Feeling our children are in safe hands at times like these is paramount, and we do at Guidepost. Cannot recommend highly enough! We are so blessed to be here.

"I am very thankful to have found this school "

I am very thankful to have found this school when schools closed recently. I have a kindergartener who was not in the Montessori school program
and I am currently a single parent. I'm also an essential worker. This program checks temperatures every morning, limits contact with others, and is really attentive to the kid's needs. Without this school, I would not have been able to return to work. I highly recommend this program for those that have this need. Thank you Montessori team.

"Challenging, fun, supportive learning environment"

My two boys really enjoy attending school here. The teachers put a lot of thought and effort into creating a challenging, fun, supportive learning environment. The children are all treated with respect and treat each other with respect. The classrooms are small, and the children get individualized attention from the teachers. The younger children also have the opportunity to learn in Spanish immersion classrooms.

Language Immersion Options

Children under the age of six absorb language effortlessly, which is why we are pleased to offer bilingual environments. In our Spanish Immersion program, children learn both Spanish and English literacy skills, however, the prevailing language spoken throughout the day is Spanish. The overall emphasis on Spanish rapidly increases fluency, as children feel naturally compelled to communicate with their Spanish-speaking guides. The Academy of Thought and Industry combines the best of a classical education with personalized learning based on interest, passion, and curiosity. Our programs deliver a powerful education for independence and help to develop curious, self-motivated students who thrive in school and in life.

If you transfer from one of our locations to the next, your child’s progress and continuity will be tracked in the app and readily accessible. Read more about Transparent Classroom here.

In this app you will see important notes and milestones such as:

  • Daily toileting, eating (bottle feeding for infants), and sleeping habits
  • Curriculum introduction, progress, and completion
  • End of day summary of all activities
  • Notes such as bringing in more diapers or a new set of clothes
