what makes us stand out.

How is the Guidepost Montessori approach different from conventional education?.

At Guidepost, we join with parents on their mission to help their child grow and live well. Together, we design an education to empower each child to build the knowledge, skills, and confidence she needs to craft an independent, flourishing life.

Though there are many differences between the conventional approach and Guidepost, here are some of the most important:

Conventional Education vs Guidepost Montessori
What is the Guidepost Mission?.

At Guidepost, our mission is to support each child in achieving her own independence. To do this, we help her gain the knowledge, build the skills, and craft the personal character she needs to flourish. Above all, our goal is to cultivate joy—in the pursuit of knowledge, in effort applied to work worth doing, in the achievements of herself and others, and in taking the steps to author her own life.

What are the outcomes of your programs?.

Montessori education is known world-wide for having positive impacts on both academics and social and emotional skills.

At Guidepost Montessori, when we design an environment to meet the developmental needs and interests of children alongside personalized care and support, the child can learn advanced skills at an accelerated pace.

Our students, for example, regularly learn to read by the time they’re 4-years-old and can perform all four math operations with 4-digit numbers by the end of their Kindergarten year.

The language and math skills of our kindergartners are on a par with what children in conventional programs learn in 3rd grade or beyond! What’s more, our students learn advanced academics joyfully—while simultaneously developing deep focus, self-discipline, and positive social skills.

Do your programs include Kindergarten?.

Yes! The third year of our Children’s House program, designed for 3- to 6-year-olds, is the capstone kindergarten year. In this year, the child has been well-prepared to experience an explosion of literacy, learn advanced math concepts, and use her hard-won ability to focus, problem-solve, and persist through challenges to then make advanced gains across the curriculum. Children who continue with Guidepost through Kindergarten are often well-ahead of their peers when they enter 1st grade.

Following elementary, students continue on to our Montessori middle and high school, the Academy of Thought & Industry: a school that combines a classical liberal arts emphasis on history and great books, and a Montessori emphasis on independence and agency.

How does Guidepost partner with parents?.

At Guidepost, we want to make the best education the best for children and parents. This is why we provide year-round, extended-day programming at no extra cost, enabling consistent and uninterrupted access to the care and developmental support parents expect. We invite you into your child’s world—with daily photo and video updates, regular milestone meetings, and parent-child events that showcase your child’s progress. We work to understand your unique context and needs, so that we can provide support for milestones at home as well as at school.

In everything we do, we strive to cultivate joy as you watch your child grow!

Both our boys started atteding this school since they were 17 months old. We always feel the peace in our mind when we drop them off in the morning that we know they will be in good hands throughout the day. Specifically, Ms. Temeshia as the lead teacher in Children House 1 did a fantastic job in providing multi-level activities not only following the curriculum but also considering the individual needs of each child. She also offered professional advice and sources to parents to support the development of their children. Our boys showed significant improvements in achieving the independence and academic goals during their school life with Guidepost Galleria.

We love the staff and the Montessori Curriculum at Guidepost. My son is currently in Childrens house 2 with Miss Mercy and we could not be more pleased with Miss Mercy's kindness and approach in helping our son improve his focus and pronunciations. Miss Mercy is an absolute gem. I am so glad my son is in her class. She is so patient and truly loves the children here. My son has been attending Guidepost for almost 3 years. He started with Miss Jawaria (also amazing) and from the beginning the staff, the updates, the progress meetings, and now the events have helped to create a community here. I highly recommend Guidepost to my neighbors and friends.

Game changer for our son ! The learning technics are so adapted to kids. Calm environment, nice set up in class room, consistency of program and evolution of teaching. Kids are engaged on multiple different activities throughout the days with various "atelier", all well thought to develop different skills. The autonomy that kids have during the day can clearly be seen at home where they take on duties and tasks without us asking for it. Good manners and good behaviors are also an important part of the Montessori program and results are outstanding. On a more personal aspect, Ms. Mercy is the lead in our son's class and she is doing an amazing job with our son and with the entire class. We can clearly see humongous progress with our son. She is also very attentive to all kids "special skills", meaning that she clearly knows which kid excel in which category (math, art, logic etc) and while completing the entire program, she also emphasize that special skill and push them to even develop it further. Overall a very good experience that I recommend !

My son is currently in Ms Mercy’s children house now and he is very happy to go to school everyday. His class is lead by Ms Mercy who has many many years of experience and dedication to early childhood education. Ms Mercy, Ms Nadia, Ms Jessica, Ms Tamesha all the teachers at the Guidepost take great care of the kiddos. They offer a supportive and stimulating environment that not only cares for children but also actively contributes to their growth and development.

We love the school. My son is 4 years old and he started at Guidepost Galleria a year ago. We see so much progress not only academically, but emotionally. His teacher, Ms. Mercy is very kind and carrying. She helps him in difficult moments. He is a lot happier and more content. We see a tremendous difference with his social skills. It's easier for him to make friends, and he loves helping others. Ms. Mercy is an excellent Montessori guide, she pays close attention to each kid and guides them in their interests. My son loves all the activities throughout the day, and he is so happy to show me his new math skill, or art drawing. All teachers and administrative staff are friendly and nurturing. Everyone knows everyone. It's a close-knit community that makes it feel like family. Director and staff are very involved and bring a lot of fun opportunities for parent engagement. We appreciate everything the school does for the kids and parents. I wish I knew about this place earlier :)

My son has been in guidepost Montessori for over a year now and he has been improving everything and reaching each milestone easily ! I had a bad experience with my first born when I enrolled him on a different daycare he was traumatized and I was scared to put my youngest son in a daycare but I had to, I saw online guidepost Montessori when I was moving out of FL and I loved everything I read about them. This place is the best and most loving daycare I ever seen. The teachers have a lot of love and patience for the kids and they make activities and learn new skills everyday ! My family and I love guidepost Montessori 😍 they also do monthly special activities to have a better community with the kids ands the parents! Things like arts and crafts, picnics and more ! I never write reviews of places but this daycare deserves all the reviews and 5+ stars 🤩

She's super understanding, caring, and patient with my busy boy. She's super passionate and very educated on the Montessori philosophy. If you're looking for a safe place for your LO 10/10 I recommend!

We have been truly blessed with our children's teachers at Guidepost Galleria. Both Ms. Mercy and Ms. Temisha are exceptional teachers who have made an enormous impact on both of our sons' development. Soon after we registered the kids at Guidepost, it was evident that the Montessori model suited our boys' aptitude. The devotion, passion, and dedication shown by our boys' lead guides are nothing short of phenomenal. Temisha and Mercy’s dedication, warmth, and genuine care for the children under their guidance are evident. Both teachers have different but equally effective approaches. They go above and beyond to create a nurturing and stimulating environment for all the kids. Ms. Mercy has settled down our boisterous 5-year-old and has prepared him for the next phase: kindergarten. We will be forever grateful to Ms. Mercy for all she has done for our oldest son. Ms. Temisha has a wonderful ability to engage the children in various activities that promote their learning and social skills. Our son has made remarkable progress under her guidance, both academically and socially. Every day, he eagerly looks forward to going to daycare. Communication with parents from both classrooms is seamless, making us feel like valued partners in our boys' journey. Regular updates on their progress, along with insightful suggestions for techniques to practice at home, show true and consistent dedication and passion for her students. In an environment where passionate educators are hard to come by, we feel incredibly fortunate to have our boys under the care and guidance of Ms. Mercy and Ms. Temisha. Their dedication and ability to engage with the students make them the most valuable assets at Guidepost Montessori Galleria. We wholeheartedly recommend Guidepost Galleria to any parent seeking a nurturing and exceptional educational experience for their child.

My daughter has been with Guidepost since she was in the Nido classroom and is now in Children’s House. She has learned so much and talks very well for her age. Any time I have any questions, concerns, or recommendations leadership is always there to assist. All the staff is exceptional. My daughter went through a short stage where she began to cry at drop off but Ms. Mercy worked endlessly with me to help her have a smooth transition into her new classroom. She now walks into her classroom super excited to see her friends and will ask for Ms. Mercy even on the weekends! We have connected with many other parents during our journey at Guidepost. It truly is a great community to be a part of!
