Hear from our Round Rock Families

Our son is one year and in one of the Nido classrooms, and we've had a great experience with Guidepost so far. I appreciate how attentive they are to COVID protocols, as COVID exposure was our biggest hesitancy to putting our child in a classroom setting.

We've only been with the school for a month now, but so far it's been great. I really love the administrators, Shavonda and Tiffany, whose jobs and day-to-day work I have a lot of compassion for. Being responsible for the safety of a massive group of kids (and their parents) during COVID times just sounds so rough. I think they're doing a great job and I do my best to show them my appreciation regularly.

To those considering a daycare for their little one, I love Montessori, and I love the team here, and I think you'll find your child in loving and attentive hands.

"Thank you Guidepost for everything!!"

I highly recommend Guidepost to any parent, especially those who are struggling with their child to transition to certain stages of life. I appreciate all of the love and time and effort that Guidepost puts in to each child. The transparent classroom app they have is amazing, and I look forward to his pictures every day, as well as receiving a personalized email about my son's day from his teacher every afternoon. They also have financial assistance for anyone who qualifies and the process for that is very straightforward too! Another amazing thing that happens at Guidepost is that they always have some type of creative event that can be great for the whole family to participate in so your little one can stay excited about school.
Thank you Guidepost for everything!!

"Thank you, Guidepost"

This is a fantastic school. We are so blessed with the location & having an opening for my 2-year-old grandson. They are going above and beyond to prevent COVID, so no need to be scared. Children need interactions with other children and to learn in a calm, controlled environment, and this school is just that. The amount of quality education he is receiving is extraordinary. Thank you, Guidepost for all you're doing.

New! Picco Program

We are excited to be launching the new Guidepost Picco program here at the Round Rock campus! Picco is derived from the Italian word piccolo, or “little,” which is exactly what these programs are– small scale, home Nido classrooms designed for up to 5 to 6 children and two guides. Picco classrooms combine the intimacy of a nanny share with the structure and child development expertise of a school classroom.

Our Picco program allows a personalized experience for both baby and family, giving each infant the space to practice and master coordination and language skills, in an environment that is already comfortable and suited for their needs– a home environment.

Stay connected to your child's learning

Thanks to our app Transparent Classroom, you get a window into your child’s experience of school daily.

Your child’s Lead Guide will share what your child is learning and what their real-time assessments are - this way you can very closely follow your child’s development throughout the day, months, and years you stay within the Guidepost network. If you transfer from one of our locations to the next, your child’s progress and continuity will be tracked in the app and readily accessible. Read more about Transparent Classroom here.

In this app you will see important notes and milestones such as:

  • Daily toileting, eating (bottle feeding for infants), and sleeping habits
  • Curriculum introduction, progress, and completion
  • End of day summary of all activities
  • Notes such as bringing in more diapers or a new set of clothes
  • Reminders for upcoming classroom events like birthdays, holidays, or special occasions
