Changing the world, one student at a time

We are a school where children find the joy in learning — and thus make it possible for them to continue learning for the rest of their lives.

To think mathematically.
To solve problems.
To create things.
To encounter great literature that inspires their character development.
To build themselves as capable, efficacious beings.
To place themselves in history and in society.
To spark meaningful friendships and deep personal values that last a lifetime.

Our goal at Guidepost Montessori is to serve each individual child, to help them realize their limitless potential, and the opportunities they will have to create real and lasting change throughout their lifetime.

Hear from our Ogden Families

All of the staff are extremely passionate about their roles as guides, communicate with parents very well with daily updates and weekly newsletters and build a curriculum around each individual child based upon where each child is showing strong interest in (math, reading, life skills, etc). Highly recommend this school. Parent of three enrolled in Toddler, Children's House and Elementary.

"I highly recommend this preschool for all kids"

This Montessori preschool is so wonderful!! If you're familiar with the Montessori method, or you just want your kid to have a good experience with early learning, or you want to help them start exploring the world and grow their independence from the start....this is the place for you! The guides (teachers) are all very caring and helpful, exploring the activities that the children find interesting. Washing hands, opening boxes, peeling oranges, setting the table, slicing bananas, wiping up spills, watering plants, playing outdoors... so many fun and practical activities, even for toddlers! I also really appreciate that tuition includes the full range of hours, rather than having to pay extra for drop off before 8:30 or after 3:30 (other places I looked at would have actually been more expensive with a normal working schedule!!). I highly recommend this preschool for all kids, I think it's currently 6 weeks to 6 years but they're offering an elementary summer camp too!

"We can't image our daughter going anywhere else"

Our daughter has been attending Guidepost for one year now, and we can't imagine her going anywhere else! I was so nervous to send her to daycare, but she absolutely thrives here. We've learned so much from their programming and have transitioned her home environment to match her school environment. We highly recommend their services.

Stay connected to your child's learning

Thanks to our app Transparent Classroom, you get a window into your child’s experience of school daily.

Your child’s Lead Guide will share what your child is learning and what their real-time assessments are - this way you can very closely follow your child’s development throughout the day, months, and years you stay within the Guidepost network. If you transfer from one of our locations to the next, your child’s progress and continuity will be tracked in the app and readily accessible. Read more about Transparent Classroom here.

In this app you will see important notes and milestones such as:

  • Daily toileting, eating (bottle feeding for infants), and sleeping habits
  • Curriculum introduction, progress, and completion
  • End of day summary of all activities
  • Notes such as bringing in more diapers or a new set of clothes
  • Reminders for upcoming classroom events like birthdays, holidays, or special occasions
