Changing the world, one student at a time

We are a school where children find the joy in learning — and thus make it possible for them to continue learning for the rest of their lives.

To think mathematically.
To solve problems.
To create things.
To encounter great literature that inspires their character development.
To build themselves as capable, efficacious beings.
To place themselves in history and in society.
To spark meaningful friendships and deep personal values that last a lifetime.

Our goal at Guidepost Montessori is to serve each individual child, to help them realize their limitless potential, and the opportunities they will have to create real and lasting change throughout their lifetime.

Arizona Scholarship Account (ESA)

Thousands of Arizona students in Kindergarten through 12th grade are currently eligible for the state-funded ESA, which awards $4,000 – $6,500 annually per student towards private school tuition, home-based education, and other services.

Guidepost Montessori is approved by the Arizona Department of Education as a vendor for parents with students who qualify for the Empowerment Scholarship Award. If you are eligible for the ESA program, you can use your funds towards tuition for our in-school programs, virtual programs, and to purchase our stage-based Montessori materials.

An Exceptional Education for the Arizona Tech Community

As the “Silicon Desert” continues to thrive and new opportunities like the Arizona plant of Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC) continue to unfold, there’s a growing need to prepare the next generation of our community for innovative thought, progress, and excellence. As the largest and fastest growing network of Montessori schools in the world, we're on a mission to do just that.

Hear from our Peoria Families

Our two year old goes to the toddler program at Guidepost Montessori and we absolutely love the learning and friendships she is making at this school. The way they teach her about life and how to be a whole person is very evident every day after she goes home. She randomly sings new songs and speaks in complete sentences and we just get surprised by the awesome progress she makes every time. The staff is outstanding: friendly, accommodating, and very patient - they love what they do. The facility is clean, which is one of the biggest factors why we chose them. We will definitely be staying with Guidepost until she goes to Kindergarten! Thank you Guidepost!

"The decision was easy"

Our family recently moved to Peoria from the East Valley and one of our top priorities was to find a school for our daughter. We toured 6 other schools before our visit to Guidepost. Not only were we so impressed with everything but all of our questions were answered and most importantly, we felt our family belonged at this school. The decision was easy and our daughter has had a wonderful experience at Guidepost. Our only complaint is that she cries when it is time to leave school which is something we can definitely live with. We love the Montessori approach, we love her teachers and we love outstanding quality of this place.

"The Perfect Fit"

I have so many things to say that I don't know where to start! I am a VERY protective mom who was anxious and nervous about sending my child to preschool for the first time. However, Guidepost won me over very quickly and allayed all my fears! This preschool/kindergarten is the perfect blend of academics, culture appreciation, and socialization. They foster independence, creativity, and a genuine pride in learning in all of their students. The entire staff is dedicated to guiding each child in discovering and maximizing their strengths, while encouraging them to tackle new tasks/learning experiences they may not be familiar with. This staff also provides a very nurturing environment which I was very drawn to and one I had not observed with other schools when I was choosing a school for my daughter (and believe me, I looked!). They have a fantastic Spanish Immersion program for toddlers and preschoolers. I see the progress my daughter has made in the year she has been there and my husband and I are amazed! She has become a confident, independent, and respectful little lady who loves to learn. She is excited to come home each day and share all she has learned and accomplished! We love our little Guidepost community and are so thankful for the perfect fit.

Language Immersion Options

Children under the age of six absorb language effortlessly, which is why we are pleased to offer bilingual environments. In our Spanish Immersion program, children learn both Spanish and English literacy skills, however, the prevailing language spoken throughout the day is Spanish. The overall emphasis on Spanish rapidly increases fluency, as children feel naturally compelled to communicate with their Spanish-speaking guides. Stay connected to your child's learning

Thanks to our app Transparent Classroom, you get a window into your child’s experience of school daily.

Your child’s Lead Guide will share what your child is learning and what their real-time assessments are - this way you can very closely follow your child’s development throughout the day, months, and years you stay within the Guidepost network. If you transfer from one of our locations to the next, your child’s progress and continuity will be tracked in the app and readily accessible. Read more about Transparent Classroom here.

In this app you will see important notes and milestones such as:

  • Daily toileting, eating (bottle feeding for infants), and sleeping habits
  • Curriculum introduction, progress, and completion
  • End of day summary of all activities
  • Notes such as bringing in more diapers or a new set of clothes
  • Reminders for upcoming classroom events like birthdays, holidays, or special occasions
